1. General Risk Disclosure
Trading in financial markets, including futures, options, and other derivatives, carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Before deciding to trade, you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite.
The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment, and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.

All content, features, and tools provided by Guard My Trade are for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on our platform constitutes:
- Financial, investment, or trading advice
- A recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security
- An offer or solicitation to invest in any financial instrument
- Tax, legal, or accounting advice
You make all trading decisions solely at your own risk. We strongly recommend consulting with a qualified financial advisor before making any investment decisions.
3. Rule Enforcement Limitations
Guard My Trade provides tools to help enforce your trading rules. However, you acknowledge and accept that:
- No guarantee of protection: Our rule enforcement cannot guarantee you will not incur losses. Market conditions, slippage, and execution delays can affect outcomes.
- Configuration responsibility: You are solely responsible for correctly configuring your trading rules. Incorrectly configured rules may not provide the protection you expect.
- System limitations: No automated system can anticipate all market conditions or prevent all adverse outcomes.
- Not a substitute for discipline: Our tools are meant to assist your trading discipline, not replace your judgment and decision-making.
4. Execution and Latency Risks
You understand and accept the following execution-related risks:
4.1 Slippage
Slippage can and does occur, particularly with market orders and during volatile market conditions. The price at which your order is filled may differ significantly from the price at which you intended to execute.
4.2 Latency
There is inherent latency between when a trading signal is generated and when an order is executed at your broker. Delays of several seconds or more may occur during:
- High market volatility
- Network congestion
- Broker system load
- Processing of complex rule logic
4.3 Order Rejection
Orders may be rejected by your broker for various reasons including insufficient margin, market conditions, or broker-side restrictions. Guard My Trade is not responsible for rejected orders.
5. System Reliability
While we strive for high availability and reliability, you acknowledge that:
- No guaranteed uptime: The Service may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues
- Software bugs: Like all software, Guard My Trade may contain bugs that could affect functionality
- Network failures: Internet connectivity issues may prevent proper operation
- Third-party dependencies: We rely on brokers, data providers, and infrastructure that may experience their own issues
You should never rely solely on Guard My Trade for risk management. Always monitor your positions and have backup systems in place.
6. Trade Copier Risks
If you use our trade copying features, you accept the following additional risks:
- Execution delays: Copied trades may be executed at different prices than the source trade
- Partial fills: Some orders may only be partially filled or rejected entirely
- Synchronization failures: Position synchronization between accounts may fail or become delayed
- Different account conditions: Margin requirements and available capital may differ between accounts
7. Behavioral Insights Disclaimer
The behavioral insights and analytics provided by Guard My Trade are based on your historical trading data. You understand that:
- Past patterns do not guarantee future behavior or results
- Insights are algorithmically generated and may not capture all relevant factors
- You should not rely solely on these insights for trading decisions
- The insights are informational and not predictive of future performance
8. Proprietary Trading Firm Warning
Important Notice
Using Guard My Trade with proprietary trading firm ("prop firm") accounts may violate the terms and conditions of those programs. Many prop firms explicitly prohibit:
- Trade copying between accounts
- Automated trading tools
- Third-party execution software
- Account synchronization services
Violating prop firm terms may result in account termination, forfeiture of profits, and other consequences. You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable terms of your trading accounts.
9. TradingView Webhook Disclaimer
If you use TradingView webhook integration, you acknowledge that:
- TradingView indicators and strategies are provided by third parties, not Guard My Trade
- We do not review, validate, or endorse any trading strategy
- Webhook delivery is subject to TradingView's systems and may be delayed or fail
- You are responsible for the accuracy and logic of your alert configurations
10. CFTC Rule 4.41 Disclaimer
HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE MANY INHERENT LIMITATIONS, SOME OF WHICH ARE DESCRIBED BELOW.
NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN. IN FACT, THERE ARE FREQUENTLY SHARP DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND THE ACTUAL RESULTS SUBSEQUENTLY ACHIEVED BY ANY PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM.
